Peter Francis Gurrie is a Contemporary Print and Mixed Media Artist living in Melbourne Australia.
My works explore the macro and micro worlds of our making. From the numerous harmonies that our societies seek, the functional design of our microprocessing, to the introspective parts of us that make us vulnerable.

Peter Gurrie - The maker of many things.
Entrepreneur, business builder, marketing leader, historian, and passionate artist.
Peter's artistic view of the world is from multiple very unique perspectives.

Pete Gurrie has travelled an unlikely path to becoming an artist. While studying print-making at VCA, he moved on to commercial creative direction. The proclivity to analyse and organise took him on to data strategy, analytics and then customer experience design. All this while Peter continued to produce art resulting in a massive back catalogue of personal work, which reflected his life at the time.
Peter’s print making, multimedia and works on paper explore the relationship between the natural way of everything and the augmented processes of mankind and how they coexist but mostly collide.
Working primarily as a printmaker, he also adds dimension to his work in mixed media. While frequently referring to the linear patterns of circuitry, architecture and town planning all of his work is done by eye and with a free hand. This keeps his work honest and well apart from the processes he references in his work.
